People with cancer living in outlying areas of South Devon and Cornwall have a very long way to travel for treatment. Derriford Hospital in Plymouth would like to have a mobile team that could travel to cottage hospitals to treat patients near their homes but they do not have the funds. So the Chemo Outreach Project is hoping to raise the £80,000 needed to employ two senior oncology nurses for a year that would visit hospitals in Kingsbridge, Tavistock and Liskeard.
